1. Circle Time
Introduce the Melody MOTTO

• Talk to kids about lesson. Use these CURIOUS QUESTIONS:

- Do you know how to Stretch? With your body? How about with your emotions or learning something new?

- If we are stuck in a routine our bodies, minds, and emotions can get stuck or feel sore. We can stretch to feel better!

That’s The Melody MOTTO for the How High Can You Fly? song!

3. Discuss Life Readiness Lesson
    with kids!

• CURIOUS QUESTIONS to ask kids:

MOTTO
Can you stretch your arms up high? Can you stretch your arms down low?

PROBLEM
Fear of Change (Want to stay in old)
Do you know what a routine is? (Where do you do the same thing everyday?)
Have you ever moved, traveled, or changed schools? Were you scared?

SOLUTION
Small Changes (Stretch into new!)
If change happens too fast we can get scared! Sometimes that is too much.
We can learn to Stretch by changing things small, a little at a time.

We can take one thing from the old routine into the new experience to help us feel better about Stretching into the new.

Is there one thing you could (or did) take with you from the old to move into the new?
